THYME

Thyme is a fresh herb commonly used in Mediterranean cuisine. Its intense flavor and characteristic smell and makes it ideal for different preparations, and it is commonly used as an ingredient for stews, marinades, grills and pickles It is a part of the so called Herbes de Provence, commonly used in the South of France. In Italy it is commonly used for making focaccia, and in the Middle East for the preparation of the mixture of species called Zaatar, used as a marinade for numerous preparations, including meats and breads.
